    1988 BMW 325iS Extremely nice

    ***SOLD***

    1988 BMW 325 iS coupe
    VIN: WBAAA1309J4142342

    Asking $7,200

Alpineweiss with black leather sport interior
    5 speed manual transmission
    Power windows
    Cruise control
    Air Conditioning
    Power moonroof
    Limited slip differential

    200k miles

Car is located in Raleigh, NC

This 325 iS is a rare example of an E30. The car has been pampered and cared for its entire life. I have extensive records going back many years and all maintenance is up-to-date. This car has been adult owned and driven. It has spent its life in the South and has no rust.
It has tasteful modifications, like Bilstein Sport shocks and struts with H&R Sport springs, larger aftermarket swaybars (with welded reinforcements), completely upgraded Alpine stereo system with Bluetooth, a complete front headlight wiper and washer system (rare), braided brake lines, Tri-flow stainless rear exhaust (that sounds amazing), and 16x8 wheels with newer Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 tires.
The mechanical cooling fan was removed and replaced professionally with an electric, heavy duty fan and larger capacity aftermarket aluminum radiator. OEM parts were used exclusively in other maintenance. This car 100% reliable, in very good condition and runs and drives like a car half its age with half as many miles.
The car turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere I drive.
I am not sure you will find an E30 in this condition with this many new parts. It really is one of the nicest E30's around.
Starts every time. Runs, shifts and drives great. Straight and smooth. Everything works...windows, sunroof, all lights and gauges.
    The dash has no cracks.

I would rather not sell it but I am moving and have too many cars and not enough available garage space.

Clean CarFax. No accidents. I can provide a copy from 2014 or you can purchase an up-to-date one.

Since 2012 the car has had the following work done:

    Front control arms (Lemforder)
Front control arm bushings (Treehouse Racing M3 billet steel)
    Front hub assemblies (FAG brand)
    Front upper shock mounts
    Front rotors
    Front right brake caliper
Remanufactured steering rack (ZF OE from rackdoctor.com)
    New inner ball joints
    New outer ball joints
Fresh alignment (Performance Chassis, Cary, NC)
New power steering reservoir and filter
    New power steering line
Rebuilt power steering pump (Coventry West, Atlanta, GA)
    New steering guibo assembly (OEM)
    New water pump
    New timing belt
    ALL coolant hoses replaced (OEM)
    New accessory belts
    New ignition rotor and cap
    New spark plug wires
    New spark plugs
    New exhaust manifold gaskets
    Intake manifold removed and tanked
    Throttle body cleaned
New intake manifold and throttle body gaskets
New drive line guibo and hardware
Remanufactured, balanced driveshaft with new center support bearing
Limited slip differential checked for lash and play
    New half shaft
    New fuel pump
    New fuel sender
    New rubber fuel lines
    New fuel filter
    Refurbished fuel injectors
New ‘lifetime’ rear upper shock mounts
New rear upper shock mount reinforcement plates
    New rear spring pads
    New rear brake rotors
    New right rear brake caliper
Refurbished instrument cluster (Odo gears, grounds cleaned, circuits re-flowed)
Refurbished M Technic 1 steering wheel
    New Hella Rallye horns
    New Z4 shifter assembly
    A/C recharged 5/2014, blows cold!
    New clutch slave cylinder
    New Performance Friction brake pads
    Varrstoen 16x8 wheels
    New Alpine Head Unit
    New Alpine amplifier
    New Infinity front component speakers
    New Infinity rear speakers
German Audio Specialties discreet subwoofer enclosure and rack with matching carpet
    New Alpine 8” subwoofer

    ...and probably more.

There are only a couple issues to mention. The stereo needs to be looked at. It was working great and sounded amazing but recently the sub woofer and rear speakers are working intermittently. Its probably an easy fix. The brake pads that were installed did not include sensors so the check pads light comes on.The rear seat has a couple seams that have come apart. There are a few marks behind the rear wheel on the passenger side and a couple door dings. The IS front lip could use a touch-up as well. Other than those minor things this is a very rare find indeed.

Please ask questions before making a decision to buy.

Nice car! I may have missed it, but do you have details on the bumper swap? Is all paint original?

Beautiful, beautiful car. If the deal I have working on a black one in California in as good of condition falls through, I will definitely be in contact!

Every now and then a car is just done well. This is one of those times. This car sells quickly, is my bet. Well-priced clean examples are just few and far between these days. GLWS

Ha! Couldn't even get the words out before you proved me right! Congrats on the quick sale!
