    BBS Wheels?

I came across the following auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2439397933

Are these really BBS wheels? If so, they must be discontinued because I couldn't find them anywhere on the net. If they are, does anyone know how much they weigh?

Those emblems do not seem to say BBS :? thats a style of BBS I've not yet encountered and the seller seems a lil shady to be branding them as BBS ...

      I doubt it.

Look like Honda aftermarket wheels to me. "40" offset tires, 8 lug universal pattern, white paint...

      I'm callin negatory.

I just figured out the reason the seller may be calling them BBS wheels. Those look like ASA JS-1 wheels, and I'm betting they probably are. ASA uses BBS patented technology to make their wheels and may even be a BBS subsidiary. Thus, the claim that they are BBS.

If they are JS-1 wheels, then they are too heavy for my taste, especially considering that the may need spacers to fit. Throw in the fact that I would refinish any white wheel silver before it went on my car, and one can safely conclude that there is no way in hell I'd bid on those wheels.

          ASA is indeed a subsidary.

They are ASA JS-1's painted white. That guy saw the "Licensed by BBS" under the ASA logo and went:

"Hey, I can sell these as BBS wheels even though they aren't! It's people like me that make eBay such a great place!"
