    Super ITA

Well im not able to go do a dyno, but i was wondering what sort of power you think im at. Basically i have a super eta, with a i head conversionm and all the other i parts (expect the block). I have an intake and exhaust too. Thanks for the info.

Sorry but hp is not a guesstimate number neither is torque. I have the same setup as you (save the exhaust and HAI). When I first had the conversion done, I was running the single mass flywheel...I am now back to dual due to breaking pressure plates. Needless to say the single mass was a blessing and was really noticeable compared to now.

Are you running a chip for the "i" ? If not, get one.
What kind of exhaust do you have? Full exhaust or catback?
Are you running a high flow cat or stock?
Are you running the 2.93 or 3.73 or 4.10 diff?
Is your intake a "hot or warm air" version?
All these can help give you some miniscule gains that will add to a few hp if your car is in good running condition.

Having owned 325iS' and etas back to back I'd say my car as it is now with a stock 8.5:1 approximate CR is more torquey than an m20b25 stock. Why do I say so...well the car feels much faster and certain "moves" just feel different...chirping third is not a problem at all. I do have the 3.73lsd in and its much more of an upgrade on its own in the torque dept. too. It was a problem to chirp 3rd in the eta (an impossibility) and very rarely happened if ever in my stock 325iS unless powershifting (don't do this..not good for car ;) ) Bear in mind that I am using 3rd gear chirping to simply demonstrate why I think the car is more torquier with the 3.73. I could chirp 3rd with the 2.93 but that was deliberately and with more effort.

I have never really gotten my car to 100% but its very close now and I am left to replace a bad cat with a universal catco to see if that will solve my backfiring problems (car was run rich for a while)

On highway pulls the car feels dead even to a 325i but this was not on a head-to-head type of deal. I am yet to line up with a stock 325i now that I have done a simple tune up, when I do pull against one, I'll post the results to let you know.

It will be very close...I know that for sure.

I dont have a chip yet but it will be bought sooner then later, it is a cat-back exhaust, hot-air intake, 3.73 diff.

So your saying that you think your ita's faster then your is?

I don't have the iS no more...The car feels faster but I am yet to verify it if really is...I will be going against some stock m20b25s for comparisons sake
