Regretfully selling my old daily, it's served me well for the last year. Originally bought this car to drive while I did a motor swap on my e46 touring. Now that it's done I need to sell this because I don't have any room for it at my apartment. I bought it at 212k last April/May
Stats:
1988 325 sedan
Schwartz on black vinyl
217k (though believed to be ~20k lower due to swapped cluster.)
I head on superETA bottom end yielding a higher compression 2.7l. It's like a 325 but with more power everywhere
Repainted about 10 years ago, it shines amazingly but has paint chips and a ding or two.
iS front and rear spoilers. RyanG splitter.
MSR 228 15x7 2pc wheels. Small spacers in the front to clear the calipers.
Sparco front strut brace and an aluminum brace in the rear
IE Stage 3 springs with Koni adjustables
Ellipsoids headlights with euro grills
Plastic bumper conversion!
Suede shift and ebrake boots
Custom cup holder in place of the ashtray
ACS pedal covers
Mtech1 steering wheel in great shape
Z3 ssk
12" sub with amp in trunk, currently disconnected
NEW slotted rotors and ceramic pads with stainless lines
NEW (within last 3k) control arms, M3 CABs, front hubs, sway bar links, ebrake cables, alignment
NEW (within last 5k) timing belt, tensioner, water pump, hoses, spark plugs, VC gasket, air filter, fuel filter, battery, coolant, etc etc
Just changed the oil/filter and did a valve adjustment.
The bad:
Non original paint, though it still shows very well
Paint on bumpers is so-so. I'd sand them down and spray them satin black if I were keeping the car.
RF fender was replaced in the past
Was hit-and-run in the left rear corner. This rubbed some paint off above the taillight and broke the light. Lights replaced, scuff touched up.
Reserve comes on at 1/4 tank. Probably a loose connection I'll dig into this when I'm at the car next.
Passenger rear window switch only goes down. I'll change it out.
2.93 rear diff. Though it gets great mpg
Can show the car next week onwards. It is located in BOTHELL, WA. Tabs are expired so you'll have to come to me, they don't transfer with the car any longer so it's throwing money away.
