FS: 1991 BMW 318is Sterling Silver
I've decided to sell my beloved 318is. Current mileage is 176,xxx and going up as it's my daily driver. I have owned it since 2009 and have replace everything that has been needed over the years with quality BMW or OEM German parts. I rebuilt the motor in order to make it a 2.0 with the kit from Metric Mechanic. It now runs like a scared cat. It may have cost less to do a 6cyl swap, but I wanted to keep the motor as close to stock as possible. Thus keeping the weight of the car down.
Modifications include:
Koni sport shocks and struts
H&R race springs
MK Motorsport 16x7 wheels
Stromung exhaust
COP conversion
Late 90's BMW stereo w/Grom Audio iPod adaptor
BMW M Sport leather steering wheel
Electric fan conversion
HID headlights
Engine rebuild done around 141k
There are signs of rust on the right door and there is a spot on the left door. The left door check rod has broken through the metal. BMW still has these door shells in stock and can be gotten easily. If I were to keep it that would have been my next project.
I really didn't spare any expense in keeping this car up. Fortunately I've worked at a dealer or independent shop for the last 26 years and have had access to everything needed to keep a car like this and drive it daily.
Please email me or pm me with any questions about the vehicle.
