Hi everybody, I'm wondering if swaping the 4 lugs for 5 lugs on a 318is will affect it's resale value. Thanks for the help!!!

If you don't change anything else you might improve value ever so slightly as it gives a few more choices for rolling stock, which is certainly something a few people want.
Unless your car is some super low mileage cream puff, in which case you should leave it stock. However, almost no E30s fit that bill, and the remainder are so common that most any tasteful modification won't impact value at all.
Edit:
Since everyone got on the M3 5 lug swap I'll say that that would certainly add value to the car, at least $500.Last edited by roguetoaster; 09-12-2016, 09:01 PM.

I think 5 lug is more of a key selling point (to some people). I don't even think e30 M3 5 lug will actually raise the value that much.My Garage

Yeah but probably not the same amount it will cost you unless you can get the stuff super cheap and install it yourself."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
