    SOLD - 1989 Zinno 325i Sedan, 5spd, LSD - New Jersey

    SOLD

    1989 BMW 325i Sedan

Im selling one of my E30s. This one is very original, unmolested and complete. The car isn't perfect but from what I can tell, the car has never been modified in any way and appears to have been well cared for its entire life. It boasts of an excellent interior, steight body panels, a strong pulling motor, and like only a few of the Southern E30s it is nearly rust free.

This car has a working crank sunroof that is leak free. The black vinyl comfort seats are close to perfect with no obvious flaws. The rear seat is in matching condition. The original carpet has no tears or significant signs of wear or staining. Original OEM floor mats are in good condition and included. The center consoles are very nice as are all four interior door panels. The headliner is clean and completely free from tears. The dash has two inch-long cracks inside the coin tray and are not visible when sitting inside the car. The original radio remains installed but I don't have the code. Other options include ellipsoid headlights, cruise control and AC. The trunk is exceptionally clean with jack, wheel chuck, bottle cap spare, clean battery tray, cover and a nearly complete set of tools in very good condition. All truck carpet pieces are in excellent condition and included.

The exterior of the car is in very good condition. All panels are straight with no significant dings or dents and the paint is in 8/10 condition with the exception of the passenger side fender and a small section around the fuel door (see pictures). Even with the flaws, the car presents very well. The paint condition on the doorjambs, interior trunk and under the hood is very good to excellent. The only rust is under the battery tray on the valance, which is difficult to see without looking for it.

The tires have a lot of tread left and the bottle caps are in excellent condition. All wheel center caps are in new condition.

The engine bay is very clean and tidy. It is truly unmolested. The VIN-matching Getrag 260 is very responsive and shifts through all gears. The shifter bushings are tight and clearly replaced sometime in the car's recent past. The clutch feels great and the car pulls very well. The suspension feels OK but could probably use a refresh. That said, I wouldn't identify this as an urgent need. I notice no whine or noise from the 3.73 LSD. Unfortunately, I have no documentation of maintenance but there are no warning light on the dash or on the overhead information panel, both of which work properly.

Other strong points include a clean undercarriage to match the clean engine bay. The front end is straight with an exceptional looking grill and valance. All trim and brightwork is complete in very nice condition with the exception of a few minor scrapes on the rear bumper trim. The plastic bumpers are crack free and the car has all original BMW glass.

This is a very original, nearly rust free and complete E30 with an "I" motor, manual gearbox, and LSD. I wouldn't say this car is 100% sorted but it could easily be driven as a reliable daily tomorrow.

I'm not in a rush to sell but it's time for me to move on to the next one. Please feel free to come take a look and make an offer. I will likely sell it to the person with the highest offer over the next few weeks.

Please text for additional pictures. I'm willing to discuss delivery or shipping if it's needed.

Thank you, Papag1234. I've been trying to source a clean zinno pass fender because it really is the only panel that looks like that.

And I don't know how I missed the mileage. It has 244k on a functioning odo.
