My 1982 320i Track car
The 1982 320i is a track racer. It is not street legal but it wont take much to make it street legal again. The car is only 1900lbs and very fast and handles really well! Have three trophies (Two best in class and one in third place overall finish). Very solid car with original paint still on it. If any rust its just surface as you can see in the pictures. Very dry and no paint or body work has been done. Just dings and dents from being over 30 years old.
The following was done to the car and they are all like in brand new shape.
Car mods:
AC removed, heater removed, front bumper removed, under dash, console and misc. interior removed.
AutoPower cage (rear race bar with U-weld front cage kit) also has camera mount for your youtube go pro videos, New Corbeau race seats both with five point harnesses, Front air dam, Fog lights.
Drivetrain mods:
Fuel injection removed and converted to Brand new 36/36 Down Draft DCNVH setup, ceramic coated header, Ansa muffler, new short shifter assembly (BAVauto). Has original engine and I have no idea how many miles or in it. No engine modifications. Has Corbeau Sport seats, 5 Speed Getrag completely gone through and shifts precise and like new. Has safety engine cutoff switch on the dash and a safety on off switch in the trunk.
Suspension mods:
Bilstein sport shocks, BAVauto sport springs, BAVauto front camber plates, TEP front strut bar & rear strut bar with battery mount, Suspension Techniques Front & Rear sway bars. Front drilled/slotted rotors, Stainless steel brake lines.
Wheels:
(5) original BMW aluminum 13? turbines wheels with 5 Brand new tires (One in the trunk). I would upgrade to 15" wheels or atleast 14s.
Recent maintenance:
New flex disk, motor mounts, trans. mount, shifter mounts, engine torque strut, throw out bearing, New Plugs, wires, water pump, oil/ filter change, new cooling hoses, belts, etc. I am sure I am forgetting a lot of things but once you drive it, you know. Battery relocated to trunk.
Again, car runs and drives great and if the tail lights, headlights and turn signals were hooked back up then you could drive it back to CA if you had to. I have clear title in hand.
