    Help with A/C hose part number

    Hi, having trouble getting a good part number for the low pressure hose/pipe, the one that goes from the compressor up close to the firewall, where it hooks up to the one going to the evaporator. (The one with the metal heat shield)

    Real OEM and some other sources say it's no longer available and doesn't show a part number. Anyone knows how to reference to it and where to find it?

    The ETK is wrong on this (May 2017). I ordered all A/C hoses (except one, see below) last week. The part numbers are the following:

    Evaporator/Expansion value -> compressor (part 1): 64 53 8 391 048
    Evaporator/Expansion value -> compressor (part 2): 64 53 1 380 542
    Compressor -> Condenser: 64 53 8 391 052
    Condensor -> Drier: 64 53 8 391 041
    Drier -> Evaporator/Expansion value (part 1): 64 53 1 381 740
    Drier -> Evaporator/Expansion value (part 2): 64 53 1 372 601

    ETK says Evaporator/Expansion value -> compressor (part 2) (the one you are looking for) should be 64 53 8 391 051 but I think it does not really fit. Therefore I ordered the "old" 64 53 1 380 542 (https://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/...531380542.html). It has the old R12 adapters, but that should be easy to fix.

    My bigger problem: The line Drier -> Evaporator/Expansion value (part 2): 64 53 1 372 601 is not available any more.... :down:
