1989 bmw 325is convertible 74k miles all original, excellent condition
Just bought an E46 M3 convertible so this has to go. Its a 1989 325is convertible with 74k miles, all original, 2 owner car. This car was garage kept and rarely driven so it's in amazing condition.
Interior:
The interior in super clean, no ripped seats. The leather feels very good and not dried out. The dash is crack free. It has a Husco armrest (armrest has a tear in it). The car has heated seats but the driver's side bottom doesn't work. The passenger side is fully functional.
Exterior:
The paint is all original and still looks new. The car is AP 2 and has factory front and rear spoilers. The side skirts are Kamei. All panels have matching vins and there are no major dents or door dings that I can remember seeing. The convertible top is in great shape, but the rear window has three tears in it that were taped up. The only bad thing is that the car was involved in a low speed collision and supposedly the hood was pushed back and scratched the paint on the a pillars. The insurance company totaled out the car as a result. I don't know all the details as this happened while it was owned by the original owner. I've included pics of the damage which is basically just scratches in the paint. All the gaps line up right and the hood opens and closes normally.
Engine:
Its all stock and I recently changed the oil, transmission fluid and differential fluid. The car is equipped with an LSD and the timing belt was done in 2002 and has about 7k miles on it. All service records since the car had 4,000 miles will be included.
Overall:
This is a rare find with low miles. Don't let the salvage title scare you away because you will be hard pressed to find another low mileage, garage-kept car like this. Looking to get $9,000 OBO.
