1987 325i s52 swap az car $10.5 obo
Up for sale is my S52 swapped 87 E30. The car is in great shape and runs strong, I originally wanted to turbo it, however I started a new job and no longer have the time to undertake a project like that. Id rather spend my time camping or 4 wheeling at this point, so I'm hopping the proceeds from my car can fund that. I bought the car from a younger guy who was selling it to fund his first year of college. He purchased it from his neighbor who did the swap back in 2005. The car has a S52 out of a 1997 M3, with a 5 speed and LSD out of the same car. The engine has roughly 100k and I have done the following over the course of the last year:
(In order)
Replaced clutch master cylinder and hose to slave
Body work and spoiler delete
Compression check (180 all cylinders pictured and documented)
NGK spark plugs
Coolant flush
New LSD fluid
New trans fluid
(3) oil changes (Royal purple x2, Amsoil for the most recent)
New paint (Alexa paint alpine white
Lemforder Control arms and bushings
Bilstein B12 struts
H&R lowering springs
New water pump
Installed Miller performance War chip (really brought the car to life)
New clutch master and slave cylinder
Clutch return spring delete (The rod in the spring got bent and destroyed the fitting to the master; this starved the system of fluid. I ordered the new master/slave and discovered this after so I just replaced it all anyway.)
