    VEMS M42 PnP Help Needed

Wired Up a PnP harness for 91 318i. All sensors read properly, crankshaft sensor is getting a signal and i have attached a trigger log. But I can't get the car to fire and run. It only cranks. Any Ideas? I have also tried switching one of the ignitions outputs to pin 11 and running batch fire. still no fire. Per VEM recommendation I cycled the ignition outputs, because they thought it was firing on exhaust stroke. But that didn't work either.

Here is my pinout sheet that I made and currently how it is wired up.

Have you confirmed you are actually getting a spark at the spark plug? and if so have you hooked up a timing light on clr 1 to see when it is firing the spark in relation to the timing marks on your engine?

FYI, TDC is tooth #19 (114 degrees after tooth zero). It looks like your timing setting is off by 5 teeth.

See here for some info I put together on M42 timing. My nomenclature differs a little in that I call the first tooth after the gap #1, but the rest holds.
