Thread chaser for steering wheel mount

I was reinstalling my steering wheel and I inadvertently cross threaded the nut that holds on the steering wheel. Thankfully I caught what I was doing before causing too much damage but now some of the threads need to be cleaned up.

Does anyone know what size thread chaser I'll need to do this job? Late model E30 if that makes a difference.

Figured I'd ask here before running out to by a thread pitch gauge.

The nut is either M14X1,5 ZNFE or M14X1,5-05 ZNS3

The ZNxx suffix just identifies the material and coating (zinc ferrous or zinc flake).

Might be easier to take the nut along to Ace or Home Depot and check a few bolts to make sure.

You can read the 2 columns side by side and brush up your technical German language skills though I don't know why anyone would want to do that..
