    Asking for advice on Parts

Hey R3vlimited, new guy here. Recently fell in love with E30's when one of them rolled into my work, (I'm a photographer for an Auto Auction). These cars somewhat regularly stroll through, and sell for very good prices. My plan is to snag one of those in the next couple months. I would like to get a good head start on part picking because I'm going to be doing a lot of it. The car I buy will likely be beat up, so I'll get it for cheap but need a bunch of new parts.

And I'm talkin' cheap guys for real. Here's an example of one that went through my work recently. Manual sold for $900.

Sorry for that lengthy intro, my first QUESTION though is about wheels.
Will konig 15x8 offset 25mm with Kuhmo 225/50 R15 tires fit without rubbing? What if I lowered it a tad? I don't want to slam it just give it a sporty stance.

Next is seats. If they are fully in tact I will keep them stock. But if they are worn out -which is more likely- what would you guys recommend I get? I hear that mk2 GTI seats easily mount in with a little modification and are way cheaper than oem 'is' seats.

Next is exhaust. I was looking into Remus exhausts but decided I think that's a little too loud for my tastes, and apparently it drones at like 1500-2000. So I think my #1 pick right now is stromung. It seems to have a real sporty note without being obnoxious. Any opinions? Don't tell me to just stick with oem exhaust, aftermarkets have way heartier sound and look more aggressive out the back.

Next is short shifter. I've narrowed it down to the Z4 2.5 shifter because the z4 3.0 seems a little too racey for me. I like the 2.5 because the stick itself is much shorter but the throws don't become comically short. I also hear the UUC kit is even better. Opinions? Again don't tell me to stick with stock.

Next is paint job. I won't be changing the color, but I'm hoping i find one black. Then just a fresh glossy new coat, how much should this run me?

I'm certain I'll need a new dashboard too. Anything in particular I should look out for when inspecting the car?
