Doc Bailey's Black Leather detail kit

Just wanted to share my experience with this product. I'd definitely buy it again and I definitely recommend it. It isn't as good as a full redye, of course. It's basically a leather conditioner with a light dye in it. For really worn areas, like my bolsters, I put 3-4 coats on before it was sufficiently black. I'm really pleased with the result, especially for $12 and how easy it was to wipe on.

So if you have any black leather items that are looking worn, definitely check it out. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

+1 on Doc Baileys. I've used it to freshen sport seats and it's routine maintenance on my 2 black lambskin Husco covers (don't be jealous). Great effortless product for virtually no money.

This was originally developed for motorcycle seats so it wears really well. I suspect if you're sitting on it you would have to reapply it every xx months but again, it's so quick and easy it sure beats the hell out of a redye or swap. I found it needed a good hour to dry so it wouldn't rub off.

I'm intrigued that the Amazon ad says it's good for plastic or anything black. I'll try some on my old dash and if anyone has an old tire to test it on that would be worth a try

I used it on the trim of my e39 as well, because it said that. It came out really well. It was faded and had buffing circles on it.
