So, I know this is a touchy subject, so I will attempt to make my point without any bias, in hopes we can have a productive adult conversation.
The story of two Millennials from the 'extreme' of their chosen side of the aisle.
This week, one who spoke from (one year ago) the side of a victim in a podcast and their personal truth of their experience, and, the other about three years out from the publication of their victimization of a close family member.
How is it that one has, in a very short time 'lost' whatever they had worked to create by speaking their 'truth', but the other has seen an increase in their success and growth of their career by defending their actions?
Both were participants in the victimization of an underaged child that legally could not consent to the actions. But the response is not the same, is it intolerant to think that a victim should at least receive the same public courtesy as a victimizer?
I appreciate your opinions, and I don't think there is any reason to attack anyone if their opinion on this differs, so let us keep it respectful.
