WTB: WTB Clean E30 MT near North Carolina

    Hi all!

I'm looking to purchase my first E30!

Overall, I'm just looking for a clean example to start with and the closer to Raleigh NC the better, though I will consider shipping or driving a decent ways to pick up if it's the right car. I think 300-350 miles is about the max I'd want to drive for pickup.

    Must haves:
    Clean, rust free, mechanically sound
(Small repairs needed are fine, it just needs to be drivable, safe, and not a "project")
Mostly original (some mods are okay, but I'm not very interested in stripped interiors, welded diffs, etc.)

Would like to have (but not a deal-breaker):
A 325i but 318i is okay (not really interested in the e's)
A manual (but clean autos will be considered)
A convertible (but any body style is okay)
    Sport seats
    Plastic bumpers
Working odometer or known lower mileage (<200k)
    Working interior electronics

I'm looking to spend in the range of 3000-5500 and I'm hoping that going for a convertible will mean a cleaner example for the price as compared to a coupe/sedan

I'll try and be logged in here pretty often. Or my email is daviddbaker3@gmail.com

    Thanks!!

Welcome to the Raleigh E30 crowd! Get on https://www.facebook.com/groups/nce30/ for more of a search. I know of a very tidy 91 DB auto calypso/black auto cabrio.

TeXJ: I had to create it on panjo first and they there will be an option to link that posting to this forum. You'll have to scroll down in a drop box thing to find it

N2MYE30: Thanks, I just asked to join the group! I'd love to hear more about that 91 also
