LED - cabin lights? Anyone running these?

I got some, cheapiest and nicer ones - and basically been thinking if I need to add a resistor, or if running them is going to cause a current drain.

Yes, I'm overthinking it - but I know they will trigger the check panel for lights in that circuit if a resistor isn't added.

Anyone runnign them? The oem cabin lights are very dim. I really just one to run one or 2 above teh doors, that's it.

I've got some LED lights without an added resistor in my glovebox, trunk, and cabin and I haven't noticed a current drain nor have I gotten a warning light (then again, I don't really have the full check panel either).

You really shouldn't run LEDs from constant voltage without a series ballast resistor. The longer you run those LEDs, the more current they will draw. The more current they draw, the hotter they will get, the hotter they get, the more current they draw, etc... You do not want thermal run away if you leave your glovebox open over night.
