Textured bumper, sand down or repaint?

When I got my car, the rear bumper had this black painted(?) part on the lower half of it. I was thinking of sanding it down and seeing if it'll show white or if I should repaint it

Let me know what you think

If you are going to paint the black bumper bit white i reckon you need to paint the black bit below the doors white too.

That's what I was thinking about too. I'm kind of stuck between 5,000 options in my head lol
I've also considered the IS skirts as well

The black is the factory rubberized coating, just like what's on the rockers.

Not going to lie, I used to dislike the rubberized sections but ever since I made this post I'm considering touching it back up on the bumper where you can see it peeling. I am also highly considering skirts

^^ Redo it in black, I always preferred that look and thought it looked much better than color matched all the way to the bottom.

Mask off all white, go over over with black satin paint, if you do it right it should look like new, mine looks fantastic. My black was almost all gone when I got the car, very well worth the little time it took.

recover the "chip guard" coated section in satin black. Painting it body color always seems to look tacky and *gasp* gets chipped by rocks, shocking I know . . .
