    AW/Houndstooth '91 318is Driver in GA

    Hey everyone,
It pains me to do it, but it's finally time to move on from my 318is. I'll preface this by saying this is definitely not a show car, but a car that is meant and happy to be driven. I bought the car with a blown M42 in around 2013 and put in a late E36 M42 that came with the car. That means it has the updated profile gasket, timing case, serpentine belts, and an R134 AC compressor. I've since done all the basic maintenance (plus the mess under the intake) such as any leaking seals, fuel pump & filter, and all of the front suspension bushings. The only thing I haven't done is the rear suspension bushings, and it just started making some noise back there the other day, so I may address that before the sale.

The non standard things I've done include an interior swap from a ratty tan leather interior, to a grey houndstooth interior with a factory grey carpet set. I also swapped in a crackless dash, a C43 headunit with USB capability, and a 13 button OBC swap with the correct coding plug so that all functions work properly. The only other modifications I can think of are the Koni yellow shocks and H&R Race springs that provide a firm, but not harsh ride, and the muffler shop 2.25" exhaust with a magnaflow muffler, resonator, and a 335i catalytic converter. The exhaust is on the louder side, but not obnoxious. Oh, and it also has an HQ Autosport coil on plug conversion.

I'm sure there's more, but I welcome anyone interested in the car to not hesitate to ask any questions. The body is the biggest let down of the car, as it has a decent few dents, dings, and past bodywork (evidence of a rear quarterpanel being replaced). The most obvious issues are a big dent in the driver's side rocker panel from what I'm guessing was a PO dropping the car on a jackstand, and a crinkle in the driver's side front fender when my mother backed into the car when it was parked in the driveway.

If the buyer is interested, I may be able to include some Alpine White front fenders in better condition that have had the lips rolled. I'm also planning on selling the car on a brand new set of 15x7 Kosei K1's with a good used set of Dunlop DZ102's, but I could possibly adjust the price if you want it on a set of bottle caps so that you can put whatever you'd like on the car.

My price is $5,000, as that's the least I really want to get for the car and I don't really care to haggle. As I said though, if you just want the car on a set of bottle caps with decent tires we may be able to work something out.

Here are some pictures from a few months ago. I'll take some new exterior pictures once I detail the car, but the interior is still the same. The wheels on the car in the pictures are 15x8 Kosei K1's.

    EDIT: Pictures weren't working.

            Love houndstooth.

This is a great looking platform, at a fantastic price. This will be gone ASAP.

Not to mention that a houndstooth sport interior is my dream interior.

                    It's definitely gone by now.
