Hi everyone,
Im in talks with a local coilover company in Australia, to design some e30 coilovers. Only problem is that he is saying by using the adjustible spring perch in the rear of the e30, the spring would compress all the way before the shock travels the entire distance, effectivly i guess bottomig out the spring because there is so little distance between the spring perches and the rear spring has to be quite short to fit. I see no other way to adjust height in the rear for this case.
The only solution he offers is to get a custom spring or a very stiff spring.
Does anybody who run BC coilovers of GC coilovers, or anybody with rear adjustible spring perches run into this issue of the spring reaching its compression point before the shock travels the entire distance and reaching the bumpstop?
Thanks :)
