    HELP! M20 with M42 radiator

Currently doing an m20 swap into my E21 and decided to use the M42 radiator because of the integrated reservoir, but now I need help figuring out these coolant hoses.. In the pictures below I got 2 m20 hose to fit but im not sure about the hose for the passenger side of the radiator?? I also have a heater core delete on the car so do I need to delete some hoses or plug some of the outlets on the thermostat or throttle body? All help is appreciated thanks!

the hose on the driver side comes from the back of the cylinder head/ heater core. The e30 m42 uses hoses 17/18/4 to the radiator. You coul dmaybe use the 3 way hose from the e30 to the e30 coolant reservoir and fit it in place of hose #4 and tie it in to the back of your cylinder head and to the other location that your heater core delete hose goes. But why would you remove the heater core unless this was a track only car?

I want to say the m42 radiator has the outlet on the lower passenger side and that should connect to the thermostat outlet on the driver side of the m20 via the metal coolant pipe that run across the m20. This is assuming you are running a late model m20 with the later style water pump outlet which it looks like you are.

It looks like you are missing the bleeder screw on the thermostat. more info on the build, m20 turbo in an e21

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Awesome info thanks man! the heater core was already busted and didnt wanna go through the trouble of finding a new one, might fix mine in time. Could you give me some more info on the coolant pipe used in the m20? It runs right by the radiator in front of the belts? (from passenger side rad. to thermostat)

Its number 8 on this list, part number 11531719788. Yeah it runs across the front timing cover behind the fan to the thermostat.
