    new head gasket

Installing new head gasket and noticed my timing was off after torquing the head bolts. Pulled the head off and found oil on the head gasket. Am I able to reuse the head gasket or do I need a new one.

If the head was fully torqued, you will need a new head gasket and new head bolts as they are torque to yield and one time use.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

wait....this wasn't your original question...you just said that there is a little bit oil on your HG, asking if it's ok to use.

Now you are saying it was installed already? Obviously no, not ok to RE use.

Im wondering why he removed the head after seeing his timing was off rather than just adjusting the belt (assuming he hadnt run the car)
