new head gasket
Installing new head gasket and noticed my timing was off after torquing the head bolts. Pulled the head off and found oil on the head gasket. Am I able to reuse the head gasket or do I need a new one.

If the head was fully torqued, you will need a new head gasket and new head bolts as they are torque to yield and one time use.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yeas it wasnt. I cleaned if off and installed it. Then notince I didn't set the timming correctly since I was working on it at night. The next day I pulled it off. Thanks for all the answers. I ordered a new head gasketComment
