Ideal Wheel Offset for BBS RS

    I have a set of 16 x 6.5 BBS RS wheels going on a 1988 325is

I've measured the offset to be ~37.3mm.

I'll probably need to purchase spacers, but want to be sure of the target. I've heard 24mm is ideal for my model e30.

    Any recommendations?

You know what? These may not be RS001, trying to track down the model.

It'll say it in the face next to the bolt holes. At least my RS001 do.

Looks like wheels I purchased were not as advertised. The ad said 16 in RS001. What I got was 15 in BBS RS 033s!

Fun times in purchase protection land.....

Depending on what you paid for them then it's still not a bad purchase unless you really wanted 16's.

Ideally you want to be in the 15mm to 25mm offset

Stock basketweaves are 14x6.5 ET30 so the RS033 will sit 4mm further in. Getting 10-15mm spacers would solve that. I have 10mm you can borrow/test fit if youd like.
