Optimized Ducati (7:54:04 PM): we come out put the car in reverse...

Optimized Ducati (7:54:19 PM): nothing..it moans and groans and thats it..

So any suggestions on how to fix this? Other than getting a new tranny?

Rebuild the one you have... Either way it'll cost you and you wont have it in time for the driving test. If you've been considering it this would be the absolute perfect time to do an auto -> manual swap.

Slightly off topic, " they'll [fail] you only because of what you drive." is an insulting excuse. If she doesn't want you to drive the car she could at least have the courtesy to just tell you that instead of coming up with something that stupid.

My cousin came over, messed around with it, told me to hop it, and we went to the gas station filled it up full tank...and drove for about an hour on the freeway doing 95+. Apparently it shifted but not automatically. you had to use 1..2..S..and I'm a novice so I had no clue. So apparently he caused the same effect as flushing out the tranny..So I just need to flush out the tranny professionaly and I'll be fine. Kinda wierd, just fixed itself.
