          The later in-tank pump will not work in place of the external one for your '85 318i.

          I've got a good used external pump too if you want it- $65 shipped, guaranteed in perfect working condition.

            ive got a intake and external...$50 shipped each

            the intake include the gas gauge sending unit and the whole housing thing...

                    Well $55 but yea :shock: lol... no comment your right lol, but when i finally wanted it and needed it yea i'd pay more.. if you dont need it right away you wanna pay less.. kinda like the stealership :roll:
