1991 325i Vert for sale... Tastefully modified

I hate to do it but I am putting my baby up for sale. She is a 1991 325i Convertible, Alpine/Navy/black top, Automatic tranny with 135,000 on it. The car is in absolutly great condition. Paint is original and shines extremely well. Never any wrecks or fender benders, no bodywork. I have owned this car for a little over 1 year now. I bought the car from my father that had owned it for about 2 years. I have all service/maintainence records as well as all reciepts for everything that has been done to the car. Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles and was just changed out about 3 days ago. The interior of the car was redone about 4 months ago and looks wonderful. I had the original blue color stay on the seats but added the white piping to them. I would give the interior a 15 out of 10, so in other words the interior is 100% mint condition. Dash has no cracks of any sort. The exterior is in great condition as well. Has some chips on the front valence but nothing that cant be fixed eaisly. Replaced the fog light lenses about 3 months ago. I have new rear bumper rubbers to put on the car as well. The right side has faded just a little so Im going to replace it. Trunk does not leak at all. The car has been washed every weekend and waxed seasonly. I get compliments on this car almost everytime I drive it as people cant believe its in such great condition. The motor pulls strong and runs perfectly with the 135,000 miles on it. The motor has a new head on it that was installed less than 8,000 miles ago. The car started overheating last summer, so I took the head off and had it pressure tested. Results came back with a tiny crack. They fixed it suposedly, but then it started doing it again. Once again I took it off and had it tested again. This time it was worse and had about an inch crack. So after all that, I bought a brand new head to fix the problem. That has been the only problem we have ever had on this car since it has been in the family. I am selling the car because I dont enjoy driving an automatic as much as I do a manual, and I am wanting a coupe so I can get out on the track. Im looking for a E30 or E36 M3. Here is a list of mods/upkeep I have done to the car:

    Bavarian Autosport lowering springs
Bilstein sport shocks (added about 1 month before I purchased the car)
TMS cross drilled front and rear rotors
Stainless Steel brake lines with ATE Super Blue fluid
Axxis ultimates brake pads(new ones waiting to be installed as well)
    15 x 7 Euro basketweaves with with 225/50/15 B.F. Goodrich G-Force Sports
    Refurbuished interior
    Rebuilt brake calipers
    New head on the motor
    All new hoses replaced
All fluids flushed about 5 months ago
    Oil changed every 3,000 miles

The car handles very well and is very tight. A great driver. I am very anal about this car and I try to keep it in tip-top shape. Whenever something has been needed, I have always fixed it as soon as I could. I bought the car from my father for $8000. I am asking $6850 for it right now because that it was I owe on it. Im not trying to make a few bucks of the car, Im just trying to break even. And for all of you lowballers, dont even flame my price because this car is very nice and you will be hardpressed to find one in better condition. I hate selling this car but it is going to take to much to make it into what I want it to be. I want to sell to someone who will care and love this car in the same way I did. I can take more pics for anyone who is intrested. Pm me or email me at bimmerdrivin1@yahoo.com or call me at (423)-488-2773 if intrested. Here are a couple of pics. Thanks for looking!

I feel my 90 (when it is back in the condition it was in before the accident) is worth 8k with 53k so a 91 in this condition is also worth that much to the right person. He is not asking for 8k so why focus on that number?

Let's see more pictures of that white piping. It actually looks pretty good on that car.

I'm not a big fan of E30 convertibles but yours looks great. I like the white piping.

Here are a couple pics of the interior. I HATE the way the pictures turn out of the interior...They make it looks extremly too bright and shiny for some reason. Granted, the pics were just taken after I conditioned them so they do have a little bit of a shine to them. Youll notice a couple of the headrests had bubbles on them. This has been fixed since these pictures were taken. Thanks for the comments guys. I love this car dearly and I hate to see it go.

I dont think anybody got "taken" at all when either of us purchased the car. My father has been driving BMW's all his life and passed the bug down to me. The resale values have always been different on these cars than others. Can you find a cheaper car that looks to be in okay condition for way less than Im asking? Sure you can, but I will absolutly guarentee that it has not been perfectly maintained and babied and cared for as a car should be. I guess I am one of the few people in the world that would rather pay a little more now for a perfect solid car that needs nothing rather than a cheap car that Im going to have to spend a million dollars on to make nice again.
