I was also wondering if this is a direct bolt on for a airbag steering column.

I have heard there are diferences between airbag and non airbag steering racks but I installed a brand new non airbag rack in my 91 with no issues. In other words, yes a Euro manual rack should work fine.

Are there issues with turning when your in a parking lot? Also is this a pretty easy swap?

My oil pan gasket is leaking also. Is this a good time to change that out ?

there is NO point to run the euro rack. it's 4.4 turns lock to lock. pointless. more effort, worthless if you plan on running anything longer than 20 mins.

Are you sure?
The splines are different.
Just struggled with this on another car, and nearly resulted in destroying the racks splines...

Even had the entire steering column insert out of the car at the time.

Euro rack is worthless except for bragging rights that you have a "euro" part.

I thought I had sold one to Alex..... but I hadn't. I sold one to someone who runs autox and he raved about how it responded. I know nothing of how it compares to power racks because there aren't any here.... if there are... they are few and far between. I guess if you wanted I could include the lower knuckle of the column also? Anywya... I've got it if you want it.
