Whats up everyone. I have been searching and talking on this site for a few days now and would like to introduce myself to you guys. I just picked up my first bmw e30 this tue 90 325is 200k stock everything for $2500. I am...well was a honda guy until I met Jasper and his e30 and fell in love with cars all over again. I was really taken back by the cars overall appeal and design. I am now hooked lol, I spend countless hours on here and e30tech.com researching and understanding, or just sitting outside looking at the damn thing. I think that I have finally found a car that I will keep for life. I love pritty much everything about them so far. I have lots of plans for my e30 :) First things first I am in the middle of completely cleaning and inspecting all the parts that I can. I should be getting my suspension in a few days ie3's and bilsteins. I cant stand stock ride height lol, plus e30 look way better slamed IMO. Well one foot in front of the other. I just wanted to say whats up to everyone here, I am honored to be apart of the bmw family and look forward to contributing as much as possible.

yer hatchback was pretty clean. that shifter was pretty tite.

Thanks man :).It was a custom made extended shifter, it was rad...shortshifter with super high reach. It was similar to the a real race car. My old hatch killed it, it handled better then any car I have ever been in. Here is a link to the add when I sold it.

Ditch the sealed beams and the airbag wheel and you'll be on your way .


I can tell from here that at very least the roof and LF door have been painted with a crappy respray in base/clear and its the clear coat that is lifting .

These cars came with a single stage from the factory .

sweet thanks everyone :) The e30 community is much nicer and stronger on the web lol. Honda guys like to bicker cuz there shit is just to slow lol. Anyways yeah the paint fade sucks...but it should be getting a new coat of fresh paint in the near future. First things first the drop :). I am thinking of picking up a momo steering wheel with a quick release just for the hell of it. Not sure what you mean about the head lights though. Im a bmw noob.

sealed beams are just that, the headlights are sealed. elipsoid projectors aren't. plus, you can retrofit an hid setup easily into the elips.

its a super easy install, and you could prob pick up a set of clean elips for $100 or so.
