Hi, Need info on this C-30

I an thinking of buying a 325IC but can't determine it's real value and don't know much about this particular model. Here's the info.... 1989 325IC Cabriolet with factory installed racing dynamics package, 5 speed, 68,000 miles, car is second owner and all original, is advertised to be in great shape mechanically and cosmetically, no major work has been done that I know of, almost new tires. The car is in canada, so I would have to have it shipped and go through customs and get it registered in the US. How much do you think this car is worth and is it worth getting one from Canada? The kelly blue book for excellent condition is only about $4,200, but the owner wants $9,500. Kelly doesn't address the factory racing dynamics package, and what is this? I would appreciate any help with this for I am in a time crunch to make an offer.
    Thanks

68,000 miles on an E30? holy fuck, that is amazing.

i dunno if it is worth 9500 though, so try talking to the seller or something.

KBB or NADA don't mean anything with a car like this. It is going to be hard to find anything similar on the market to compare it to. The car has very low miles, a body kit that is going to be relativly difficult to find in good condition, and at this point I would consider the car a collectible. In my opinion I don't think $9,500 is too much to ask for the car, but it is really up to you whether or not it is worth that to you. First I would find out what it will cost you to federalize (might be expensive). Also, ask yourself what your plans are for the car. If you plan on using it as a daily I say you are paying to much. If it is a garage queen or weekend/nice day cruiser then go for it.

EDIT - Oh ya, if you buy it bring it to the picnic!!! :D
