James and I did my automatic 325is bronzit tonight,

peak horse power was like 216...
I think we did it wrong.
But my stock M20 with 300,000 miles on it beats james's 2.8 M20
              I win.

Can someone confirm that the app only asks that you input your cars weight.

I DO THINK there is a "flaw" in it that it must be completely vertical or horizontal when you run it.

                  On the other hand.....

The new version of dynolicious is much more useful and user friendly. As you can see by the yellow line, I hesitated about 1 second before i screwed up the 1-2 shift. I don't know what the **** was going on in third gear. I've never done this before so it took me 2 tries before I got one descent run. It seems like trying to launch anywhere above 2500 rpm is sort of a waste of time. Next time 91 octane and after that ebay chip.

maybe i'll buy this, and compare results to my racelogics vbox

seems like the numbers are pretty decent though

                      how much does it cost?

theres also a free program that does the same stuff now called rev lite.

still trying to figure out a good way to "mount" the phone for accurate results.

I used a strip of velcro on my center console next to the hand brake. The position you mount it is irrelevant as long as it doesn't move during the run.

Yeah its pretty good. When you use the skid pad feature, zero it with the iphone/itouch completely flat on the table then tilt it 90 degrees in any direction. It will display exactly 1.00g on all sides. I used an ipod.
