We will have another shipment of the custom valved rear shocks arriving from Koni of Holland in December. Iin the meantime Ground Control has in stock the complete coilover kits using the Mustang rear shocks as sold by TC Kline and C3 Motorsport.

any discount on the "coilover conversion kit" that is just sleeves and springs? it usually runs around $400? I'm using bilstein sports.

When you click on the link, the price is $1439. The $1489 is a different kit.

Actually, the price used to be $1399, but the strut and shock prices went up $10 each in September because of the Dollar / Euro excuse.

When I get the next batch of custom valved shocks, we may do a group buy again on the true custom valved kit.

How would the prices go up if actually the Euro has dropped considerably in the past couple months. The Euro excuse is just so lame.

I know. Believe me, I'm the guy writing the check.

But, to look at Konis side of it, (and everybody else who makes stuff in Europe for sale in USA), the price increase was announced on July 7th after many months of plummeting dollars, to give us a heads up on the September price increase. The fact that the entire economic structure of the world went to heck unfortunately doesnt reverse the process.

Look at it this way: List price on an e92 M3 was ~55,000 on July 7th. The price is not going to change to ~43,000 unfortunately.

New batch has arrived

About 3 years ago we made a big mistake and took an order for SPGC Konis based on a promised delivery date. Then....the package got stuck in US Customes for 10 days. Of course we didn't substitute Mustang shocks, but the customer was rightfully pissed off, and I said we will never make that mistake again!

So, I can now say that the shipment has cleared Customs and is on our front driveway!
