i had h&r sports and they were really nice.

this is not the best picture but it was the only one i could find quickly. im guessing h&r race would be perfect. i would go with an h&r cup kit.

GC plates will only bring you down 12mm. (which is still my favorite option though)

If you didn't already cut the IE3's I would sell them and get the GC coilover conversion. The only problem you will run into with going low enough, is bottoming out your billies.

So your basic options are: GC plates, Coilovers, Making drop hats.

I'll update this thread when I figure something out. -Chris

Depends how low you want to go.

205/55/15 all around, all teh way down in the front at stock perch location and lifted slightly in the rear:

Even at this height I feel like shock travel isn't perfect. To get really low you need to modify your strut housing, get some shortened struts, and re-weld a coilover perch lower. If you're satisfied with the height in the above picture then get some coils. H&R race isn't going to look any better to you, and IE3s are obviously not the answer.

87e30: I really love your stance. You don't see too many early models that look that good.

                    GC's are that low huh?

look at my sig for starters but view this thread and tell me that =P

old 4 lug suspension: GC's 550f/750r spring rates, Shortened Konis, GC camber plates, rear race mounts, i hate spring pads on all the way around in the pics.

with my new suspension thats coming i plan to go even lower :) but you guys will have to wait for my next thread update for find out! keep a look out ;)

why not just get frop hats in the front? They are cheap and lower your front another 10mm. That should even out your rake and keep you slammed.

Wow this is eerily similar to my car except for the tucked bumpers, rack, and trunk spoiler.

The best way to fix it is to sell the IE3's and buy some coils for like $50 more. Or you could get some FK 75/50's if you don't mind a slightly softer rear end.
                          +1.

I don't understand why everyone is so gung-ho over the H&R Races for stance. In my experiences, they have always been higher (aka worse) than IE Stg3s.

OP, why not get drophats like BeinBrenner suggested? Here is a picture of my car with drophats in the front with no front spring pads, and stock rear spring pads on IE Stg3 from a few years ago.

Your problem is undersized tires with stretch, IE isn't a eurh0 stance setup.

The Basic FK's from ECS are 760ish USD with plus the $875 core charge thats refunded when they receive your housings.

The adjustable FK's with Koni yellows is like an extra $180ish FYI.

a cheaper option to GC's and they are bolt on.
