How come you're using a thicker than stock headgasket and custom pistons and rods? S52s have major headgasket issues with the MLS and boost.

I am not doing both. The S50 has the thicker head gasket. The S52 that will be built this spring will have the custom pistons and rods.

I finally dyno'ed and drove my car.

The tune still needs work. The car is pulling a bunch of timing when it is warm etc. I am running a custom set up and pushing the CF further than anyone has with an S5x so far.

Once the tune is sorted 500whp is very possible. My car made 449whp with the air fuels 12.5 +. The IATs were 170 because the aftercooler pump was not working so.... that did not help things. I was hoping to install the custom WI set up while I was home but I have run out of time.

I was very shocked to have traction with he cheap 225 kuhmo all season tires. The suspension consist of Konis and stock E30 M3 springs. The traction was surprisingly good. I have installed a set of BBS RC reps (group buy) with 235's up front and 255's out back. I did have the rear wheels widened, i run a 25mm spacer in the rear and I had to pull the fenders. I currently have zero rubbing and all is well. I think I can fit 275's out back as well.

Dyno, Airfuel/boost and pics of the wheels.

275? That is a LOT of rubber. My friends 500WHP turbo E36 M3) rolls on 235s with a good compound and its not that bad.

Yeah, definitely. I met up with badluckm3 off BFCFI. HE is making 485 whp and I could pull on him a bit so... its definitely fun having power in an E30. TRM just finished up the new tune so i should be closer to my goal of 500whp before long. Now I just need to talk my buddy into dynoing it again. LOL

Very true. I widened the rear wheel to fit a 255-265. Once I pulled the fenders it gave me enough clearance to run a 275. I am only running the 275/40/17 because its a drag radial. If I could find a drag radial in 255 or 265 I would run that. My set up had good traction with 225's, i hope to eliminate 90% of the wheel slip with the drag radials and the race logic traction control (installing this summer)

Currently, I think i could knock off a sub 2.0 60 ft which should translate into a mid to low 11. Hopefully this summer my tune will be finalized and I can find out for sure.
