Think I may have the chance to head to the junkyard today. ^ Just to clarify, which part do you mean when you say "That part" is wrong? Do you mean the only thing from the Junkyard I need is the full length CD changer cable? and by BHO-8590, to buy the cable offered by Charlescho above?

    Many Thanks

Here's what I plan on doing to get an iPod working with my Blitzsafe M-Link1 V.1 unit. I already have a C43 in my car thanks to Installer.com part number 71-8590:

You also need the entire CD changer cable and a section of the 3-pin cable that runs along with it to the trunk for power to the changer. I already have the entire CD changer cable, and the 3-pin cable. If I had them with me I'd take a picture for you guys.

The CD changer connector gets connected to the Blitzsafe and the radio itself. The 3 pin connector gets connected to the Blitzsafe hard wired into the car. I plan on finally doing this on Friday or Saturday, because I cannot stand my tape adapter anymore.

Just wanted to say that I finally finished my install today. The three pin connector I cut shorter and crimped in with the power, ground, and CD changer pins.

I also ended up cutting the 6 pin CD changer cable because it was WAY too long and thick and I never would have had enough room behind the radio and I didn't feel like sticking it up behind the glove box or anything. All you have to do is cut it up, crimp/solder the 4 wires together (black, brown, red, white IIRC) and then twist up and crimp/solder the ground that wraps around the wires because it turns into one of the wires at the end.

It now works like a charm.

I got my C43 working the same way. But I have a Phatbox mp3 player hooked up to mine.
