There are a few differences. Namely the oil pan. I believe that the only other difference that matters is that the oil dipstick tube is different and needs to be bent. -
no, it wont work. oil pump is in a different location. You need an IX specific block.Comment

Thank you guys, I end it buying the M20 from a vert, I knew about the oil pan but if I keep my ix oil pan transfered that into the "new" used motor it would wore work the oil pump would be have to be transfered. It may require some O rings.
I will keep you guys posted with progress
