Shit, I think I need these.. Does anyone here have a definitive answer as to how low these will actually go? I neeeeeed my front to be lower than this:

IE stage 3 springs, billy sports, and 15mm drop hats (2.5" front, 1.5" rear)

All i can say is that these coilovers can go LOW and are BOMB. I had mine lowered all the way, but speed bumps KILLED me so i raised a little bit and they still look sick. I definitely would buy them if i needed to replace my current ones.

Any real answers on exactly HOW low they go? In inches? Because if they only go 3" lower, it wouldn't be worth another $400 to only go 1/2" lower up front..

well the manufacturer states 80mm lowering in the front.. if you use the e90 tophats (like im doing, $21 at local BMW dealer) it would be 90mm. - 90 = 3.5 inches.. so an entire inch lower than your setup. if your setup uses stock diameter springs you could use the e90 tophats on your current setup for another 10mm drop. The main reason for spending the $400 is the adjustability

edit: nvm - just noticed you have the 15mm drop hats, so you could use those on the JOM setup for 95mm total drop. which is just under 3.75"

Yeah, you can definitely go lower in the front with the JOM's. Throw some GC's out back OR, rock the mutant JOM/IE3 combo and have a nice riding vehicle. The springs rates will be a tad off but, 'eh.

interested, payment information? I'd also like the vert setup if it's a stiffer setup for my 325 coupe.

from what ive heard on these threads, the vert springs are stiffer, but stiffer means it cant go as low either.

Thanks, no one has commented after purchasing the vert set so its still unknown unless I over looked. Did you purchase the vert or coupe coilover set?

                                I purchased the vert springs.

They came out within a month and GC's went in the rear. BUT, I have an early model. On the two late model cars I've installed these on, the regular springs are just fine. I had some very serious binding issues in the rear as well. The front's are fine. The rears are soft.

I'd put the front springs at 500lb-'ish and the rears at ~300lb.
