That can not possibly be correct. The fabric is usually 54-61" wide. So 8 yards is 120 sqaure feet. From what I've read it takes a about a yard to do both centers. Not sure about the rear but i'd gues about 2. 3 at the most.

The fabric is 140 cm. wide and the distance between the lines is around 51 cm.
Each headrest takes aprox 55 cm.
Rear bench (mine is an M3 rear) takes 75 and 60 cm. (back and seat) and you will need 2 sets (driver and pass.)
Front is 70, 50 and 30 (For Sport seat, back, seat and leg support).
So per line you match back from rear bench with seat from front (125 cm with 15 cm to spare).
Doors, it all depends on your design but you get the idea.
          Headrest (2 or 4)
Each line of design is 1/2 meter in length of fabric. Fabric will start halfway between lines.

Nigel, I spoke with Barry and he said he needed about 5 yards to get his M3 interior done with the repro M cloth in the pattern you mentioned. I think Kevin C at Creative Options mentioned the same amount.

depending on the pattern it takes roughly 2.5-3 yards to do a set of inserts. You would need more then 7 to do front and back inserts + panels.

Just out of curiosity how long do you think it's going to take to get this into production. I have a interiror waiting to be done, and want to go this route.

I got this from a very nice person here on the forums and have shipped this off to see if it can be matched 100%. Hopefully some more info will be coming within the new few weeks.
