I am thinking about selling my e36 now that I am almost done with the e30 engine conversion. I dont need 2 cars that are about the same plus I have a wedding coming up that I could use some cash for. Anyway about the car
1996 328i Boston Grun/ Tan leather interior 140000 miles 5psd. Its in good shape with no major defects. It is starting to get a little rust on the bottom of the passenger door. It also needs new tie rods up front since it is getting a little bit of a wobble in the front. I was planning on doing the whole suspension on the car this summer(Shocks struts bushings control arms) but I would rather put that effort into the E30. Blue book value on it is $5900 but there are some around here going for $7000 with similar mileage. I would be happy with $6000 myself. I have a set of M contour wheels for it with Protenza RE750's that I would sell with it for another $1200. It has been well kept by myself and I have records of all that I have done to it. I have replaced the water pump, wheel bearings, cluch, flywheel, etc.
If anyone has any interest in the car shoot me a PM, I can get pics later. Does this sound like a reasonable price? I am considering throwing an ad on autotrader but I am not sure how quickly I want to sell it. I just wanted to get some feed back from you guys first and see if there is any interest.
