How many of us have ever spun out at an autocross?
Hopefully everyone.

How many of us have hit a curb doing a donut in a wide open space?
Probably no one.

Look at how big that piece of pavement is. Looni might be a little agressive at the autocross, but that doesn't mean that he can't do a controlled donut, especially if he has that much room to play with.

And even if you do argue that he has a good chance to hit the curb, that begs the question, "who cares?". It's his car. If he wants to do a donut and accept the risks along with it, good for him! It's not my wheel he will be bending, and he isn't going to hurt anybody but himself or his car doing it.

Yeah, big waste of time. And yeah honastly I loved my e30 to death and I swear i will own one again.. I dono.. i sold my e30 for 10.5, my m3 was only 500 bux more ;). I purchased my e30 for 2700, spent a shitload of $ and time on it.

You'll be back to e30's. I've had 2 e36's including an M3. IMO the e30 is much more fun to drive. Of course "fun" is subjective and not everyone will agree. The e36 is faster and more civilized, but to me they are a little boring. Of course I don't have to drive either of my e30's on a daily basis either so maybe I'm a little biased.

Nice car. Buy some good tranny mounts NOW and put in an SSK so we don't read about you money shifting it next week ;)

1) Super Dooper has owned more cars (most modified quite a bit), than almost anyone else on the site

2) I am willing to bet Super Dooper has seen more than his share of gruesome "accidents". My roomate is a EMT/FF, and he can share plenty of stories...

3) Looni, I am just damn fucking glad you bought that instead of an e30 M3. the e36 suits your attitude much better.

4) Let us know when you're ready to part out the engine and whats left of the suspension when you destroy the car because it "handles so amazing" and you fan-boi it into the woods.

My "use to be friend before he started doing drugs"
bought a 325is (E36) and thought he was the toughest shit around. I came along 2 months later with my beat up e30. All I had to do was stay it was stick and was automatically deemed having the nicer car.

But I am sure that is stick. I am I sure you don't have a cockhead friend who thought he was the shit for having a 10 year old car. Come on.
