I have a squeak in my steering wheel ('90 325i with air bag)....beginning to drive me nuts. Anyone have ideas on how to resolve, or a write up on how to pull off a air bag steering wheel to try to lubricate?

to pull off the airbag you need a 25 or 30 torx (star) not sure which. There are 2 screws located on either side behind the airbag. For best results use a ratchet. Just be sure to disconnect you battery if you remove the airbag plug to keep your airbag light from coming on. The dealer charges 110 dollars to reset it.harry/harout

It is also good to disconnect the battery before starting just in case the airbag plug shorts and it blows the bag while you are working on it. That would make for a pissed of bad day IMHO.
Two t25 torxs(fairly sure) behind the wheel on the backside of airbag that has to be removed. Bag will pull of now and unplug. Break steering wheel nut loose with 22mm socket and remove. Put key in ignition and turn to acc. to unlock steering lock. Then pull wheel off making sure you have marked it and the spline where top dead center is at. Lube the brass ring with a lube, it should only be making the noise from this area but check for others.
Then reassemble in reverse

Four torxs?
Just to confirm I'm looking in the correct place, there are four torx's (not two) on the backside of the steering wheel....sound correct?
Thanks.
