is there a difference between the us spec and euro spec fuse boxes?

my euro 323i has a 15 amp fuse for number 11 and also has a 15 amp fuse for number 15

and my interior lights still work when i remove fuse 27...

    im so lost...

I wouldn't mind a little clarification on the relays, all of em'. The small 3 relay box, as well as the main fuse box. I need some descriptions of what the relays actually look like. I've seen:
      silver
      orange
      orange w/ black bottoms
      white
      purple
      black

I got this 89' 325i coupe with no fuses or relays. I've tried taking pictures of other boxes, and even checked the engine bay thread for relay layout, but not really confident I got them right.

Thanks for posting that up. I could use some clarification on the little box that sits next to the main fuse box. Mine got a bit out of order during my swap and I need to figure out what goes where.

I'm confused about where it says: 28-30: lighter, power antenna

3 fuses for these guys (28,29,30)? I don't want the power antenna to go up everytime I turn the deck on, I never listen to the radio, just mp3/cd. Can I pull one of the fuses?

i dont' think i can answer you question completely, but 28-30 means that fuse "28" is a 30 amp fuse, and by pulling it you will lose power to both your cigarette lighter, and your power antenna. hope this helps.

              Thanks!

It does help, can't believe I didn't realize that. Also, I never use the cigarette lighter either so it'll work great for me.

Where is the fuel pump relay located? I have a 6/97 prod. date 325. It leaves two options on Pelican for selecting either a 4 or 7 prong relay. Which one do I need?

fuel pump relay is number two of the three relays that are not inside the fuse box. there is the main relay which is the first relay towards the headlight, then the fuel pump relay, then the heated o2 sensor relay. and to clarify, those are outside of the fuse box between the air filter box and the fuse box and the strut tower. they usually are underneath a black cover. I can take a pic of mine or of the wiring diagram if necessary.

Fuse #20, no relay that I saw. Just spent hours tracing this very circuit.
