Aren't their 7-series head rests that are fat and wide? Do they fit? Anyone know?

I know the e34 head rest is exactly the same.

Here's some DIY instructions I found on how to remove the headrest from a seat:

                  Step 1) PULL UP

                  Step 2) See step 1

I was just giving you a hard time. Yeah sometimes they're difficult to pull out but here's two tricks I use:

Put the headrest to the highest position you can and then use the palm of your hand and whack them upwards (like you're giving them an uppercut but with your palm)

Or grab the headrest with both hands and slide them up and down rapidly. You'll gain momentum with the upward stroke and that momentum should release the headrest from the clips.

Last resort you can just take off the back panel and use a long flat bladed screwdriver and pry out the two metal clips.

just make sure you get vert/m3 headrests or non vert/m3 headrest to match what car you have. vert/m3 has no piping, others do.
