    Fully Rebuilt Differentials

PM me for current availability, lead times and pricing.

Please note, any dollar figures mentioned in this thread are out of date and do not reflect current pricing.

All rebuilt differentials will contain all new bearings, friction discs (clutch plates), gaskets, seals and O-rings. Everything will be painted and fresh; completed units will look, sound and drive like brand new.

The work is being performed by a factory trained BMW mechanic with more than four decades experience and factory certification in differential rebuilding.

Standard rebuilds are a two clutch setup. Three clutch setups are available for an additional fee, as is REM polishing of ring & pinion gears and LSD spider gears.

All rebuilt units carry a one year warranty.

Majority of r3v would not pay 750+ shipping for a LSD.

sad but true. especially when a new drop in 2 way or 1.5 way would be close to that price with shipping included @$80-$100

That's why I'm looking for business from the minority who can.

No, that price does not reflect a core charge. It's for an outright purchase. Shipping one diff one way is expensive enough.

Anyone is welcome to PM me to discuss other options.

I've seen "good used" 3.73LSDs being offered for $2-300 all the time. For someone with more than a shoestring budget, this sounds more than fair for what is, for all intents and purposes, a factory reman.

I'll be breaking into his garage tonight so anyone who wants one for free.99 + shipping lemme know!

                Jokes.

I as anal as agent is I can't fathom how meticulous this rebuilds are. Totally worth grabbing rather than getting a used differential that will more than likely be burned out within a year or 2. GL with selling these bud!

I was quoted 1,300 for a rebuild. This is a great price!

                          No problem.

On that silver cover did you just bead blast and paint it which is probably what Ill do with mine when I get around to pulling the rear subframe. Powder coating is a great option but that pink is way too gay :-)

And yes, my diff cover is just high temp engine enamel.

Good Lord, that is a great deal! If I hadn't just bought a 3.25LSD, I'd have been all over a rebuilt one like this...
