7 segment LED arrived. Looks good. Writing an optimized library for it next.

7 Segment LED display is working. Brightness is good, with no flicker. Next step is integrating it into the thermocouple code.

Everything works. PSOC sensing thermocouple and driving the 7 segment LED display. Very cool. Picture does not do the display justice. Looks more "red" in person, with the background much blacker. Camera != Eyeballs.

Now I have to cram it into a nice small package. Don't worry. Dev Kits are big and clunky, but it's just a few chips. Trick is using the right ones.

Power Supply board is coming along. This will make nice clean 5V from 12V automotive DC.

Demo of brake temperature digital gauge in action. Enjoy.

Latest board progress. Takes a while doing this in my spare time.

Beefy heat sink! Or is that a screw terminal block?

Terminal block. Need somewhere to attach wires.

Power supply is done. Just fits. Board has turned into quite the small beast of a design.

Doing some CAD work. Getting ready to design the case.

Subscribed. I dig the color coded concept more than digital, which if you have logging would give the details. At a glance out of corner of eye while driving color coded would be much more useful imho... sweet project! Nice cad work on that board too!

Thanks man. Still in progress. I can easily add an RGB LED on the front for quick reference while driving. (BLUE=Cold, Green=Ok, Yellow=Hot, Red=Over Temp) Would use rotary push button to set the ranges.
