    My 325iC Body/Paint Project

Hello all, I've been rocking out the quad-tone cabby for a while, and finally decided to restore and paint the car after hitting a deer that took out the grill, headlights, hood, and fender.

Here is how I got it in February of 2001:

Here is January 2008 after getting a tap in the parking lot that dented the passenger door and fender, and a bumper swap/IS lip:

And after hitting the deer in March 2009:

And now there is actually positive progress...

Can still get the wind in the hair with the wifes car during the project...

    Racing Dynamics rear apron installed

Painting every piece... shaved all the side markers too. Yes, those are Euro grills!

    Waiting for reassembly...

Air system is overhauled for a proper paint job...

    Stay Tuned!

vlad I've already given up on trying for a vert as nice as yours... but Im thinking of stripping the canvas off the hardtop and painting body color. As far as a drop, kind nervous about that cause this is my DD and country roads potholes etc. Wheels? What you don't like my Borbets? Haha these will do me for now but keeping my eye out for some Kopi's :)

Cant wait to see the it finished. I took the easy way out on my paint after I hit a deer. I took it to my buddy with a body shop and paid him to do it. He is in the process of fixing my 91 4 door that my son tried to wedge between 2 trees.

Nice...so question is how do you keep the whole house from smelling like paint?

Thats where the sheets come in... I hang them the whole way around the garage. I will lightly mist them with water and keep the floor wet to absorb the paint mist. I will also have an exhaust fan pulling vapors outside.
Would have been a lot easier to use plastic but the mist bounces off the plastic and on to your car.
