Not everyone is fortunate to have a 500o sq ft garage. Please, I have a ton of stuff in my garage due to slab foundations where I live. It sucks and with no attic and 4 closets hence garage gets filled mighty rapidly with season things.

As for the bike comment I have a roof rack too. I take it off for fuel savings when it's not in use. And for a motor that's what a ZX-6R that the neighbor lets me ride when I want. Cool bike just a zip splat.

I think roof racks are the shit.

I love the look of my car with the racks on and 2 surfboards.

Also, we put the racks on my friends e30 M3 and haul the boards around, cause we are ballers like that.

^^^^ seconded. The first thing I buy with my summer job money this year is a decent rack setup. I didnt take the bimmer all that often skiing this year but when I did it sucked to put the boards in the back seat.
