Finally progress on the M-tech Blau interior

A while back I purchased the mtech blau interior pictured in this thread. I got a second set of headrests and added them to the rear seat. Yesterday, I test fitted it and realized that I need to do something about my faded gray parcel shelf. So I'm going to pick up some charcoal duplicolor paint today. I'm also considering painting my headliner and carpet the same color, but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, here's what I have so far

Up next is installing the seat covers

I'm not sure which seat bases I'm going to use, but either way, I'll be selling the other set of bases and both blue and black seat covers.

Good job on the seats Robert, I like the flush backrest, the armrest would ruin the M-Tech cloth and it looks very clean that way.

On a side note, I would go with the blue seats for the bases 'cause the pictures show dropped an or saggin bottoms on the black ones.

Thanks guys. BTW, my car has been mostly incognito since the last dyno day at RMS, so here are a couple pics of the outside.

I didn't start tearing apart my seats tonight as planned because an opportunity arose A cool dude sold me his NOS anthracite headliner

I think it's gonna match the M-tech interior a lot better than my current beige headliner. I'm also trying to decide whether to install this momo/hella steering wheel, or stick with my current M-tech II. The momo is a smaller diameter than the M-tech.

Any thoughts on which steering wheel will look better?

mtech 2 is a bit over played. Looks good and probably feels better in your hands, but...

That momo looks great, matches interior, and is unique. Also is a smaller diameter, which is more enjoyable.

                          You decide...

I'm going to put the M-tech interior on hiatus status until I find find an anthracite carpet and parcel shelf. The slate carpet and parcel shelf aren't going to cut it. In the meantime, I'll work on the exterior and suspension.

                              Black is beautiful too.
