Please excuse my pics this time. I screwed them up royally. Plus my PC is down so I dont have Photohop at this time
Hai guise,
On Saturday I had the distinct honour of detailing a Misano red Cecotto.
The engine is fully built. Whole enchilada; we're talking lighweight flywheel, modified head, pistons , airbox , headers from the catless S14 (because these were larger in diameter) etc etc.
Bottom line this Cecotto now puts out 276 hp at the crank, all retaining a stock displacement of 2.3 liters with custom engine management. Owner specifically did not want Alpha-N.
Before:

Afters:
Rinsed

Washed with Meg’s Gold Class.

Door jambs taken care of with some all purpose cleaner, car wash by brush. Et voila

Rims/tires scrubbed then revisited with a brush and subs between the spokes.

Towelled dry with the Miracle Towel from Chemical Guys.

Next I clayed the entire car. This car is driven! The Ring , Spa etc. Here and there there was some tough brake dust and rubber marks which flew off from cars while tracking I guess. Claying with some elboy grease took care of that ;)

Once again rinsed and taped to commence polishing

Comparison of the trunk lid (left; clayed only , right; after Poorboys SSR2.5 Swirl remover & polish)

SSR2.5 buffed

SSR1 buffed

ClearKote VM buffed

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran carnauba wax buffed

End result Day 1

Verdict: 8 1/2 hours labour. WORTH EVERY MINUTE.

Day 2
Top layer of Pinnalce Souveraan applied for some extra pop. Here's a pic of it drying.

Then.................. up up and away we were to an E30 M3 & Alpina meet.
This car pulls and pull right up to its 8000rpm redlime. What a ride it was to and fro. And the combination of the airbox and DTM exhaust = O.M...G!
At the E30 M3- Alpina treffen in Tilburg city.

There are tons more pics that i have to find and post on here. Stay tuned.
EDIT

4-DOOR 320iS
