    Mercedes 190E find

I was driving around today and saw this little guy just hanging out. The guy only wants a couple hundred dollars for it. Was wondering if anyone has any info. I know theres a cosworth edition 190, so this might be worth grabbing up.

    Badly rusted passenger qaurter
    small front and rear damage
    14x,000 miles
    6 speed manual

    Yes.

For a couple hundered, it's worth rebuilding. Or if there's bad body damage, worth parting.

But ONLY if there's bad body damage. Which chances are, my view on bad body damage are drastically more than 99% of the people on here. That "Badly rusted quarter", is not even close to part out worthy body damage.

it would be beyond my finacial capabilities to be able to bring this car back. It defineitly looks special.

Hes telling me it has aa brand new 6 speed transmission in it.

As far as the quarter, the whole radius is rusted about 2-3inches high, to the point where its prolly not even attatched to the inner wheel well.

Its going to cost more to restore than its worth. Part out the engine and transmission, maybe interior and exterior trim depending on interior.

If it truly is a 6-speed manual, then its not stock. These things either came in Auto or with a dog-leg 5-Speed.
